The La Brigitte eyeglasses are designed by Brigitte Berman,the creator of Opticiens du Bac. They are entirely manufactured in France, in the heart of Jura, the cradle of French eyewear.
Each unit is cut from cellulose acetate, a cotton-based natural plastic. The frame is then assembled by hand with vintage-style hinges and eye-catching rivets. As a finishing touch, the eyewear is put in a barrel of boxwood which will rotate for over 24 hours. Barrels of sand are also used to produce matte colours.
